A Cup of Dirt (2017)

A Cup of Dirt is a photo performance I developed in Reposaari, Finland. The premise is simple: whenever I encounter a pile of dirt, I scoop it up with a cup and release it again upon finding the next pile. Each step of this process is documented through photography. At the time, several construction sites dotted the area, guiding my journey from pile to pile—leading me from my residence to the burial ground, where the performance concluded.
